Quicktme stream rtsp (mov recorder..)

Hello!

sorry for my english, i'm french i will try to explain my problem

i would like to grab this video stream
http://davidproductions.free.fr/livefromdakota_600.mov

but i've tried with Hidownload i can download a 48mo file but i can"t open it, it's a mov file but i cant read it


that's the source i've entered in Hidownload
rtsp://a545.q.kamai.net/3/545/196/443573c0/1a1a1a31a0167fe45785f66ae00e6fdf4fbb204eb1208dbc29 980e77dc4f7ef42693087be447/livefromdakota_600.mov


i've tried to with mov recorder but i don't understand how does it work, i click play buton and i play the mov file but mov recorder doesn't see anything?!

can someone help me?

We have tried the quicktime video, HiDownload support the video and audio format, please download the entire file, then play it with the lastest version quicktime player.

i have an other question, you've said you've tried with HiDownlaod but you didn't have download the entire file, because i've downloaded the entire file, opened with the last version of quicktime player but it didn't work!

can you try to download the entire file to see if the file is really corrupted or if that i've got a personal problem computer?

We have tried to download the entire file, but the server always disconnect it after I downloaded 5-10M, so the audio is not smooth when I play the downloaded file.
We get the good file when we try to download the same video and audio format in our local network.
Now, we are working hard to solve the quicktime resume download.
which version quciktime player are you using?

thanks, i'm using the last version of Quicktime Pro

i've downloaded a 48mo file with HiDownlaod but i can't open it with any software

so, i've captured the video with camtasia studio which have resolved my problem now!

thank you for your help, your softwares are very very good! i use them everyweek

Screen capture software like Camtasia is a nice way to record non-recordable or DRM protected streams. If you prefer to have a better quality, you should try other means first.
