Problems downloading HD videos off Hulu on ios

hello I am running ios 6.x on a iphone 4. i have UVD set to download highest quality however whenever I try to download videos off Hulu they are all downloading at 396p. Is there a way to download the HD streams on a iphone 4 at all?
Someone told me I may need to hack the Hulu IPA in order to do so but IM not really sure how. Right now I am running Hulu 3.5 as that was the only version I could find that can run in ios 6 as hulu has now made the program ios 8 +
