Problem with WM Recorder 14 in Vista x64: Repeated registration message at startup

This wasn't directed at me specifically but I'll answer because I also reported the problem.

I purchased the $9.99 upgrade and have tried to installed the "code" that was installed with the installer. I installed it on a computer that had a previous version. I've tried to install it on a clean computer, with no previous version installed. I've tried Windows Vista both x86 and x64 as well as Windows 7. The same thing happens all the time. The problem with this version persists.

It still hasn't been fixed.

Did you use the new code they gave you? It's not an auto upgrade, you do need to use the new code. PM me your code, i'll test it and let you know what I get.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding what you mean by "code". To install the program, I run the install program I downloaded from wmrecorder.com and follow the instructions. After the installation, I run the program.

Is there something else I'm supposed to do? Are you referring to the installation program when you refer to "code"?

I suppose by the code Stream Ripper meant a serial number

If you look at my original post in this thread, I posted that I'd just bought the 14 upgrade (on January 3) and asked if I should have gotten a new registration code, which I didn't. As a matter of fact, I didn't get any kind of confirmation email at all but I was charged.

FTR, I've purchased all of the Applian's WM products as well as the Replay Suite.

Can you please PM me your email address? I'll look up your reg code for WMR 14 and PM it back. Alternatively, you can also submit a ticket at wmrecorder.com and get the code from them.

FYI, for anyone following this thread, the problem was resolved with an new registration code so the reg code for earlier version don't work for the version 14 update.
