First off, let me say that I'm not that experienced with this kind of recording/streaming stuff. I've been trying to download a stream for days, but I'm not able to. Here are the details. The stream I'm trying to download is from an adult website. It was a live show that aired on Thursday and it replays 24/7 until the site takes it down. I downloaded
Replay Media Catcher to try to dl the stream. The stream is RTMP. The problem is that the stream isn't constantly playing. It freezes every minute or so and it won't play again for a while (sometimes 30 seconds, sometimes 2 minutes). I refresh and it's still frozen. I try a different resolution and it's still frozen.
I've tried updating Adobe Flash Player and using different browsers. And it still freezes. When I play the stream in two different browsers, they freeze at the same time. I've asked some people who are also viewing the stream. Some are actually having the same problem as me, and the stream is freezing at the same time for us. Others are saying that they're having no problems.
And the problem is that when I use Replay Media Catcher, it starts downloading the stream, but it stops whenever the stream freezes. Then I have to initialize another download.
So I guess the overall problem is the "freezing" of the stream. Any ideas on the problem and how to fix it? I don't think it's my internet connection. I have a 3.10 Mbps download speed. So what's the problem?
