Problem downloading from vichatter using rtmpsrv (rtmpdump)Hi.
I wonder if anybody could help me with a couple of problems. I was trying rtmpsrv on vichatter.net but it gives me segmentation fault. Using RTMPdump 2.3 and here's the error with -z So I have two questions: 1) why does rtmpsrv give the error 2) is it possible to construct rtmpdump url from the data it does get Thank you P.S. please don't say "use StreamTransport or GetFLV" and please don't move the thread, I'm specifically interested in whether rtmpsrv/rtmpdump can do it. Re: Problem downloading from vichatter using rtmpsrv (rtmpdump)vichatter server uses lots of custom commands. so RTMPdump isn't gonna work anyway. however rtmpsuck could have helped you to save the video but they are using AMF3 encoding for commands which is not yet fully supported by librtmp. so currently rtmpdump package can not be used to save these videos.

Re: Problem downloading from vichatter using rtmpsrv (rtmpdump)rtmpsuck should still work.

Re: Problem downloading from vichatter using rtmpsrv (rtmpdump)Thank you for the reply and explanation. Good to hear it wasn't just about me being too dumb to use the package. I suppose get-flash-videos won't work there either since it relies on RTMPdump?
