I tried to compile 
rtmpdump on my OS X 10.5.
When compiling with
make SYS=darwin
I get

 Then I changed the "SYS=posix" lines in the 2 Makefile-s to read "SYS=darwin" and then it (seemed to) compile using just
make
But when I run rtmpdump I get
