.AVI is pretty old so it is pretty common that you get audio and video out of sync when using a variable bit-rate. I suggest you to try some other containers like .MP4 or .MKV.

If it doesn't help, please submit a support request at AVS web-site.

Thank you so much for replying.

I think the sync problem maybe due to the video code is H.264 and the audio code is .aac.

Dear user,

As kindly mentioned by Stream Recorder, you can contact AVS Support Team on the following page in case you face problems when using AVS software. We will be glad to assist you in this matter.

The newest version of AVS Video Converter (v.6.2.5.334) should work flawlessly when converting FLV to AVI, so in case such problems persist, we would ask you to send us the source file, so that we could test it and correct the problem.

We are looking forward to hearing from you and will be glad to see you among our customers.

Best regards,
AVS Support Manager

If the original FLV videos have no audio and video out-of-sync issues, then there may be some problems about the converter itself you are using now.

AVS products are for Windows, while iSquint is for Mac. Plus iSquint development was discontinued...

As far as I know, there are as many as four factors that cause the audio-video sync problem:
1. Improper sync in audio-video encoding or video formatting.
2. Poor sync during film production or editing, the film itself is not synchronized
3. Loose sync tolerances in the player.
4. Delay in the external decoder or receiver, such as improper use of conversion software.
If the original FLV video is in A-V sync, there maybe some problems when converting. So which conversion software are you using?
