pixelation/frame rate issues

Oddest thing, while recording a baseball stream (not live), the clarity on the graphics is amazing, pretty much HD. But...the finished video has the slighest bit of frame droppage no matter what modifications are made. I've done mpg2, wmv, dvd, changed the bit rate, the frame rate, etc. Nothing seems to help. So I figure it's just the recorder's capabilities.

So then I try it in mp4 setting. After screwing with it for an hour on various settings, the low smoothness rate and the high bit rate have suddenly made it somewhat smoother compared to before...but the pixelation is now more evident.

Thanks in advance.
