Opinions on (reviews of) DaniuSoft Media Converter Pro / Ultimate

Hello all, first post here!

I currently use MuvAudio version 1.7 and it seems to work OK but is a bit slow. I was looking around for something that could also do video conversion to various formats and ran into this package and it specifically mentions the Creative Zen, which I just bought.

So what are your opinions of Daniusoft Digital Media Converter? Is it worth the $40 to buy? Would it be better and faster than the MuvAudio I am using now?

Also, can it do any conversion with DVDs to make them into a file I can watch on a PC or mobile device?

Hey hey, welcome to the forum first of all, hopefully this is your first of MANY posts.

Anyways, I HAVE used Media Converter Pro and it's a good program actually. I PERSONALLY prefer Replay Converter myself, as I do think it's a bit easier to use, BUT they are both great programs and you really can't go wrong with either.

In fact, they BOTH offer trial/demo downloads..so you can download BOTH at no cost, and see which better suits you needs!

Let me know if you have any questions about the functionality of EITHER, and hope I helped a bit. :-)

Oh, if you want our grande list of converters and brief descriptions, check out: audio/video converter

Take care

I suggest you to check other lossy DRM removal tools as well. All of them are free to try. BTW the most popular ones at unDRM.info are Soundtaxi and Tunebite.

Re: Opinions on DaniuSoft Media Converter Pro

I know this is a really old thread but I just thought i'd throw my two cents in anyway.

I've used TuneBite in the past with great success. I'm not sure about it's video capabilities.

As for Daniusoft....oh man i've had terrible experiences. I've never been able to get their software to work properly....always got all kinds of errors that never showed up in the demo....never been able to get anything useable from Media Converter Pro...

Customer support is a joke...they promise you that if they can't help you get the program up and running they'll refund your money. Then they make you jump through a whole bunch of hoops send them files etc. etc. and will say in the end basically that it should have worked and there's no reason why it shouldn't therefore they will not refund your purchase.

Unfortunately I can't recommend a program that works well for video because I haven't come across one yet, just be extremely careful with Daniusoft.

I don't like software promoted by spam, so I do not recommend Daniusoft products.

You can use any screen recorder to re-record videos from screen. They are many good programs to choose from.

Re: Opinions on (reviews of) DaniuSoft Media Converter Pro / Ultimate

I'm using Daniusoft Media Converter. Every time it converts a protected WMV file to DVD the aspect ratio is messed up. There's no problem with the aspect ratio when converting to AVI or WMV or MKV, but for some reason it is never right when converting to DVD even though I set it to 'Keep Original'. A 4:3 protected WMV file conversion resulted in a squashed 16:9 image. A 16:9 protected WMV file conversion resulted in a stretched image.

Have you contacted Daniusoft support?

Yes, I've contacted them. They replied and advised me to do what I've already been doing!! They also told me to upgrade to Video Converter Ultimate. I've done that and the problem persists.

I've written to them again and await their response!
