Nexo Knights / NinjagoHello, you guys helped me with PJ Masks and I am extremely grateful. I am now trying to get Nexo Knights and Ninjago eps but I am not having luck with these "locked" episodes, even though I have a DirecTV account and can watch them in my browser. I do not see any kind of m3u8 file being offered. Do you know what i can input into ffmpeg or youtube-dl to get these? Also, the best resolution for the "unlocked" episodes is 848x480? Thank you in advance

Re: Nexo Knights / Ninjagoyoutubedl working good 720p so long as you enter your mvpd stuff properly according to youtubedl documentation. I have comcast not directv but it should work the same anyway once you enter all your mvpd stuff right youtubedl just does it all geomatically you never have to even open the browser.

Re: Nexo Knights / NinjagoThanks yelloworanges I was able to enter my account info and download the Nexo Knights episode, but unfortunately it is still only 848x480. I listed the available formats and that 480p is the best one. Oh well. This is still awesome, so thank you again.

Re: Nexo Knights / NinjagoIf 480p is awesome enough then good deal. 720p only looks slightly better anyway. Audio is the same.

Re: Nexo Knights / NinjagoWell I think that the ability to save the episode is awesome. I am curious as to why you would be able to get 720p but I am limited to 480p. I will try another provider (if my buddy will lend me his credentials) and see if there is a difference. Can't imagine why.

Re: Nexo Knights / NinjagoDo you notice anything funky about the audio in the Nexo Knights episode when played using vlc? For me the audio sometimes pulses from high to low in vlc. This doesn't happen using an mplayer based player. If the audio is re-encoded aac->aac using ffmpeg then the audio level is constant in vlc. Something funky about the mpegts aac audio in the downloaded file I think.

Re: Nexo Knights / NinjagoI actually have not watched any of these episodes. I'm in more of a collecting phase right now. I don't really use VLC when watching anything on my computer; I just use MPC. For TV viewing I transfer the eps to and external hard drive connected to my old WDTV box.

Re: Nexo Knights / NinjagoMPC doesn't have the problem. I also generally watch these on an old realtek rtd1185 based set top media player. I haven't checked playback on the realtek media player yet. I only checked in vlc to be sure that the mux to mp4 container went ok. The realtek media player does better with mp4 container than ts format. I'll save the original ts downloaded file too in case I need to redo the mux.
