need help finding a suitable recorder for KKOH AM radio (mms:// .asf)

I'm a novice when it comes to recording. I'm looking for freeware to time shift a talk show on a commercial radio station. This is something I may only use once or twice a year, so it's not worth paying a license fee. Here's the direct URL for the stream:

http://citadelcc-kkoh-am.wm.llnwd.net/citadelcc_KKOH_AM

I thought this would be simple but I've wasted an entire evening trying different products and reviewing this website, without success.

So far, I've tried Snaptune One and StationRipper. I later learned that Snaptune is no longer in business. I noticed that StationRipper is listed in the chart of streaming audio recorders, but the only input format supported is Icecast. How do I determine if the above stream is Icecast format? I also read in the FAQ that some streams are copy protected, but I couldn't find any information on how to know if a stream is protected.

Thanks for suggestions!

Freeware URL Snooper can help you finding real stream URLs in many cases.

Here we've got Windows Media .asf stream broadcasted through the mms protocol:
Code:
mms://citadelcc-kkoh-am.wm.llnwd.net/citadelcc_KKOH_AM?MSWMExt=.asf
Please see streaming media capture programs that support Windows Media streams.

WebVideoCap is freeware stream ripper that support Windows Media mms streams.

Thanks for the assist!! I only referred to the chart on audio streaming recorders. It didn't occur to me to check the video list

I just downloaded WebVideoCap. Pretty basic (no way to time shift), although I can live with that. However, according to online help, there's no way to move back and forth when playing back an MMS capture in Windows Media Player. That's a show stopper. The program I want to record is 4 hours, and I'm only interested in a small part of that.

Is that a limitation of the WebVideoCap, or Windows Media Player, or of the mms stream format?? The help page wasn't clear on this. If it's a limitation of the stream, then I'll have to find another radio station that carries the program of interest.
