need help with downloading pbs video

As in title, I need help with downloading the video from pbs.

Is it any possibility to do it? VDH catches millions of small files



(1MB), is there any chance to download it as one file? Maybe I can find a script somewhere??

I tried but it won't write the file instead of play ...

I got the message:

error: Failed to open output: file.mp4 ([Errno 13] Permission denied: 'file.mp4')

edit: I finally downloaded the video using ffmpeg, but if you can tell me why I had this error I'll be thankful.
