mirakagi error: Exception c0000005 caught during file Indiv01.key(IBX 11.0.6000.7000)OK. so I'm not gonna pretend i'm not new at all this. I have a Zune program I use and want to strip some of my files. All-in-all I've spent hours trying to find a reponse to this problem, however simple it is. I've followed all the instructions attached with FU4WM and I've downloaded mirakagi which I don't think is working correctly either. I have stopped both the Zune and WMP services in
(2. At the 'Open:' prompt, type "services.msc" and click "OK" 3. Scroll down until you see the "Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service" and double click on it 4. At the bottom, click "Stop" 5. Change the 'Startup type:' to "Disabled", then click "Apply", then "OK") and have done everything else. Now the feedback i get from mirakagi is: Mirakagi starts, code version 0.9 Found 0 keys in keyring. ----------------- Processing "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\DRM\cache\Indiv01.key" Version: 11.0.6000.7000 ... XML - Cert: 84 bytes, Key Storage: 1392 bytes. DLL 1000/aa25a @ ac01000 && ac000/1d8c1 @ acac000 Exception c0000005 caught during file "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\DRM\cache\Indiv01.key". It is finished. Also when i try to run the latest version of fairuse i click start in 'recover keys' and get "Extraction in progress on "Indiv01.key" 11.0.6000.7000 -- Please wait." and then windows shuts it down "...has encountered a problem and needs to close." i'm frickin clueless and i know i'm not completely computer illiterate. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Re: mirakagi error: Exception c0000005 caught during file Indiv01.key(IBX 11.0.6000.7fu4m 1.3 fix-2 doesn't work with IBX higher than 11.0.6000.6324, IMHO that is why Mirakagi has error on Windows with IBX 11.0.6000.7000.
Before using fairuse4wm from the fu4wm 1.3 fix-2, you need to run mirakagi that enters the IBX keys into the FairUse4WM blackbox-keys.txt text file. |

Re: mirakagi error: Exception c0000005 caught during file Indiv01.key(IBX 11.0.6000.7If you wanna use FairUse4WM, you can try to roll back Windows Media Player to a previous version unless your Zune software forces you to upgrade it without any choice.
You may also use other DRM removal software. The latest version of drmdbg works with IBX 11.0.6000.7000 and on Windows Vista. It is a command line utility. After running it on a DRMed file, you need to run drm2wmv or freeme2 as well. drm2wmv and freeme2 are command line programs as well. Luckily there are some automation tools for these programs, namely: Automate unDRM, DecryptIt, batch_FreeMe2. The problem is that drm2wmv and freeme2 do not work with all copy-protected Windows Media files. Luckily freeme2 is under development so you can get some support for it. |

Re: mirakagi error: Exception c0000005 caught during file Indiv01.key(IBX 11.0.6000.7I am having this same problem, but I'm using Windows Media Player 10. Here's what it says when I try to run mirakagi.
Mirakagi starts, code version 0.9 Found 0 keys in keyring. ----------------- Processing "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users.WINDOWS\DRM\cache\Indiv02.key" Version: 11.0.6000.7000 ... XML - Cert: 84 bytes, Key Storage: 1392 bytes. DLL 1000/b541a @ ac01000 && b7000/1d8c1 @ acb7000 Exception c0000005 caught during file "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users.WINDOWS\DRM\cache\Indiv02.key". It is finished. It still thinks I have 11.0.6 on my computer, and I don't. I tried that other DRM removal software in the previous post and it didn't work either. Is there any way to fix this? |
