IP cam: can view from LAN/WAN, but it's invisible from the InternetI recently purchased an IP Cam.. While I can view the video stream on the LAN/WAN, I could not view it on the net (from outside my network). I use dynamic IP address.. I registed with No-Ip.com.. But whenever I try to get the view on the IPCAM, I am referred to the modem of my network.. Anything I should do?

Re: IP cam: can view from LAN/WAN, but it's invisible from the InternetIt is similar to setting up DVR.
You need to forward the correct port(s) on your router/modem to the IP you've assigned to the camera. What IP Cam exactly do you have? Don't you have a manual? |

Re: IP cam: can view from LAN/WAN, but it's invisible from the Internettry to add :90 to the adress you write in your browser.
most of the dvrs use port 90 for example: http://yoursitename.no-ip.com:90 you may find the port number in the manual of dvr if you have one. else, you can check for the manual in the internet. which dvr do you have ? hope it helps, marco |
