Re: Installing Windows Media Player 10 on Windows Vista 32/64-bitIt's a pity after a System File Checking, the whole process has to be done again from scratch. I believe it's possible to protect certain dlls when the file checker stumbles upon them. Will try to find a way to do so. Any suggestions appreciated, thanks.

Re: Installing Windows Media Player 10 on Windows Vista 32/64-bitI got this all working fine, up until the "individualization" step ( http://services.wmdrm.windowsmedia.c...en/indivit.asp ). I open that page up in IE, and the upgrade box never becomes clickable. Any ideas?

Re: Installing Windows Media Player 10 on Windows Vista 32/64-bitI eventually got it working, but for some reason it retained the 11.xxx IBX files, even after the WMP10 installation. I checked this with Fairuse4Wm and the Mirakagi tool.
Is there any other way to just roll back the WMP11 IBX's? I have the 11.600.xxx, is it possible to jump back to 11.57x.xxx on Vista? Guess I'll just have to use my XP machine for FairUse4WM drm removal. |

Re: Installing Windows Media Player 10 on Windows Vista 32/64-bitI was about to follow this neat little guide, unfortunately the file with 'install.bat' (http://rapidshare.com/files/28846725/321.rar.html) was removed by rapidshare.
Can someone reupload this please? Thank you so much. |
