Ineptepub.pyw not working: Error: expected an intended blockFirst I downloaded/installed python/pycrypto.
Then I got ineptkey.pyw, ineptepub.pyw(for epub files) ineptpdf.pyw v2 (for pdf files) put all them into my digital editions directory. Ran ineptkey.pyw. It found the key and saved as "ADEPTKEY.DER " in the same directory where ineptkey.pyw is. Ran Ineptepub.pyw, an error occured: There's an error in your program: expected an intended block Highlighted: try: from Crypto.Cipher import AES What went wrong? |

Re: Ineptepub.pyw not working: Error: expected an intended blockI don't really know the cause of your problem.
You may need to replace Tab spaces to Spaces in the pyw files. Do you have the Adobe Digital Editions installed and registered to you? Have you really installed PyCrypto? Try to re-install it. And make sure your Python and Pycrypto are compatible. What OS do you use? If you use Windows Vista or Windows 7, you may need to add python.exe and pythonw.exe to the DEP exceptions. Did you try to remove DRM from epub files? Where did you buy the epub files you have problem with? |

Re: Ineptepub.pyw not working: Error: expected an intended blockI think the error is: expected an indented block
and the word from is highlighted below the label TRY: since this is the result I received. I have Python/Pycrypto from a zip file, they match each other and was able to run ineptkey and got adeptkey.der Just this peculiar message running adeptkey Windows 7 64 bit version. constant reader |

Re: Ineptepub.pyw not working: Error: expected an intended blockWhat version of Python and PyCrypto do you use? Make sure it is an x32 version, although you have an x64 version of Windows 7.
