Help with Xbox 360 Recording (HDMI) with Canon Camera

Okay, so i wanna record my Xbox 360 For a project i'm making, These are the tools i got.

Canon 12Megapixel Camera with mini hdmi out
Xbox 360
Le40C755 Samsung TV (3D Full HD) with 4 Hdmi out
Hdmi cable for xbox
Mini Hdmi with normal Hdmi for the Camera. (haven't bought yet)
So can my Camera record the TV screen which is the xbox through mini hdmi - hdmi to the TV?
The xbox is already connected through hdmi - hdmi to the TV.
Basically my Camera will record the TV screen which will be xbox 360.
Will it work? :S
