[HELP!!] Recording from ps3 to pc using Video to dvd maker

I have some problems to record my ps3 to my pc. Here's what i do:

I bought a Video to dvd maker (Video capturer) usb and pluged in my yellow red and white ends to my pc. It gets signal but its just black on my capturescreen. Is it something with my graphic card or what?.

Help??

I don't really know what kind of USB capture device you use. But I don't think something is wrong with your graphics card.

Have you installed the software (and drivers) that comes with your capture device?

If you connect your PS3 to your TV using the same cable, do you get any video?

Do you play in SD or HD mode on your PS3?

I get video and audio when I plug it in the TV, I have installed it on the computer but still no video or audio but I have signal.
