Grabbing video with SMIL files?I've got access to a site that I am trying to grab videos from. It serves them in .smil format. When I open the smil file I have the tag for the video but the problem is that the tag also has start and end information in it. Right now my only option is to open the smil file and paste the link into net transport. The problem is that this DL's the whole movie, and I only want certain clips. Can someone tell me if there's a way to DL just a certain range?
Sorry if I'm not articulating this well. |

Was wondering what those two things did. |

Re: Grabbing video with SMIL files?Ok, I finally got the chance to try this and I have some problems. I have a clip-begin flag and I just guess on the end based on the start of the next clip. However, the audio is futzed up and when I try to convert it with mencode I get all sorts of errors. Ideas?

Re: Grabbing video with SMIL files? What media stream recorder do you use to capture the stream? Have you tried any other audio/video converter?
