GetFLV - Troubleshooting many problems with GFLV ...

running the latest version 9.8.181.18
and downloads not starting on hulu it seems a hit and miss with this software which I purchased under a week a go

any ideas suggestions ?

I can confirm 181 works, but it freezes frequently, though if I wait long enough, it will come back to life. Frustrating.

Also, previous versions (17x), would list both the darwinfs and huluedge links, now 181 only lists the darwinfs links.

IE kernel does not work at all.

with 9.8.181.18 I can download shows but longer movies stop halfway through...i used to be able to stop/start when it got stuck and it would pickup where it left off, but now when I stop/start, it does not continue the download.

Also, as in the post below, with the previous version there were 2 links for every download and I usually had better luck choosing the huluedge one, but now I only get the darwinfs.

Please fix this! and thank you for your continued updating of getFLV.

Same here , same version, impossible to download any Three Stooges videos. I am using the free Hulu version under Windows 10 pro. Thanks for your help. I Tried IE Kernel, still no go! GetFlv has always been my favorite FLV downloader . When will it be possible to download F4M streams with GetFLV?

Window 7 Pro, GETFLV 9.8.183.18

Downloading Hulu movies.
Movie streams are displayed and can be captured.
Movie does not play in movie browser.
This is the case for all Hulu movies.
This is the same problem since GETFLV release 9.8.175.18 .
As others have reported, this release does not recover from a stalled download when stopping and starting download.

Yes, it would be great if the problem with not being able to completely download an HD movie can be fixed. I too used to pause the download part way through and restart it and it would usually finish. Now, restarting does not work and I have yet to fully download an HD movie that's more than 90 minutes long.

Honestly, not being able to see the video in GetFLV doesn't bug me at all. In fact, I prefer to not see it since I always back out of it so that it's not eating bandwidth while I'm downloading the FLV file.

Hulu movies are no longer downloading.
If I look at the Repository folder. The movie size keeps switching between 0KB and 1KB. Very strange behavior.
The SRT file downloaded fine.
Everything else is stuck.
I downgraded from 9.8.183.18 because movie download recovery no longer works on that version.
It almost looks like Hulu has changed their protection scheme again.

Is http://download.hulu.com/huludesktop.swf still ok?
