"free viewpoint television" vs "multi-view 3D television"

Dear All;

Two terms of "free viewpoint television" and "multi-view 3D television" are used frequently.

I wanted to know the difference between these two.
To my understanding free viewpoint doesn't require to be 3D. It is just the rendering the scene based on the view angle of the viewer.
However, in multi-vew 3D we have 3D and it is suitable for multiple viewer and not only one viewer.

Please correct me if I am wrong.
And give me more information
