Free Softwares to Record Netflix Videos

Netflix is an online video site where you can enjoy various TV programs. However, some people may complain that they cannot download the TV shows from Netflix anymore. This is really a discouraging news for TV fans like us. Fortunately, I have come up some efficient solutions to overcome this issue recently. By utilizing screen recorders, you can record Netflix videos. All these apps worked fine in my testing period. Next I’ll share my experience, hope it will help you as well.

Method 1: Using Apowersoft Free Online Screen Recorder

This tool is my favorite application to make screen videos. Because it’s 100% free without function restrictions, time limits, watermarks, etc. Also, it supports recording videos in various popular formats, such as MP4, AVI, WMV, MKV, etc. It’s very convenient to export the videos to different portable devices for playing. And the operation steps are quite easy, you can do as the following instructions.
  1. Go to visit the site of it, then click “Start Recording”.
  2. Open “Tools” > “Options” to configure program settings based on your preference.
  3. Choose wanted audio input to include system sound into video recording.
  4. Click “Record” and then drag along a region on your Netflix's playback window.
  5. Press “Stop” button to finish recording, the video will be saved in your hard drive.
What’s more, it’s equipped with a task scheduler that can record long program/movie automatically without having to watch the screen. This tool is extremely useful to record the program which is only available in certain time range.

In order to do so, drop down “Tools” then click “Task scheduler” upon main interface. It will pop up a window where you can set the time to trigger your recording with certain duration and in desired region. Next, press OK button to enable the task and the task will be initiated when it meets the time point to start recording.

Method 2: Using Bandicam

Although this tool is regularly used for making gameplay video, we can also make use of it to record videos from Netflix. It lets you record video in formats of AVI and MP4 with excellent quality. Check following part to know how to use it.
  • Launch Bandicam.
  • Open Program options and customize recording settings (Choose desired resolution, Bit rate, output format, etc).
  • Adjust recording frame to fit Netflix video and then press start icon upon recording frame.
  • Click “Stop” button to end recording and save the video in local disk.

Recording Netflix videos has never been so easy by using the above solutions. I believe all of you guys can take control of your video recording and enjoy favorite film. If there’s someone who has some problems in using them, please feel free to leave your comments or questions, I’m glad to answer and offer some tips.
