Jaksta Free Music Recorder is a free and easy way to to record music as it plays through your computers speakers.
How to record any audio (radio, music) from your sound card with Jaksta Free Music Recorder- Select the Music Recorder (Music icon) on the Free Media Recorder Toolbar in your browser.
- Free Music Recorder will appear.
- Click the "Start Audio Recording" to being recording music played through your speakers.
- MP3 files will be saved to the "Save to" folder location. This can be changed by clicking the small folder icon or the Configuration icon.
Jaksta Free Music Recorder Settings
Click Configuration icon to display access the Settings.
- Storage folder: The folder to which videos will be extracted.
- Split on silence: The application will automatically create a new MP3 file for each song, based on the silence threshold between songs.
- Silence threshold: The number of millisconds of silence..
- Windows Audio driver or Applian Audio Driver: On XP this is not shown. Depending on your sound card you may have to experiment with which driver gives the best results. If your audio card doesn't have Stereo Mix / Wave-Out Mix / What U Hear, then try to use the Applian Audio Driver.
- Hide from Task Bar when Minimized: This option will remove Free Cache Viewer from the task bar when it's minimized. You can reopen Free Cache Viewer from the system tray in the lower right hand size of your PC screen.
