If I disable flash in Firefox then there is no stream at all in URL Snooper. For this website it looks like they just don't pass the iPhone version of the URL in any way at all.

I've tried everything, I completely understand what your instructions are, it's just the iPhone Mp4 URL never gets passed for me to sniff.

Is there no way to make a 'clean' URL from

http://nlds119.neulion.com:443/play?...3u8;*.ts;*.mp4

because i just cannot see how i will ever be able to 'get' the iPhone version if it isn't passed in this setup.

did you try to sniff using AddBlockPlus in firefox and the 'open blockable items' function?

I tried with vanilla installs of both Chrome and Firefox, no addblock installed at all.

Are you suggesting that I install adblock, select "Open blockable items" and then try running the sniff again?


Edit: So I opened Firefox with addblock installed and did your suggestion of "open blockable items", I don't get the same iPhone URL that you guys posted before, but i do get a new mp4 URL that i haven't seen before which is

however if i put that into livestreamer it seems to 'find' the stream but then returns a 403 forbidden error.

^ I've just realised that the URL is the "start" of the pieces that it downloads :/

It's been a while and I still haven't found a solution to the issue above. Does anyone have any further ideas?

I know it is possible because I have seen Premier League Pass rips on the internet, so at least one person has worked out how to do it.

I know how to do it but my method is that uncommon i don't want to release it because i'm afraid it will get patched.

There's another method for it, you get the android app, install a packet capture app and capture the video as its playing, get the cookie, user agent and m3u8 and figure out the rest.... i'm not saying my method which is completely different from this however.

If you have a mac, an iphone and wireshark (brew install wireshark -- see brew.sh) you can mount your iphone to your mac and sniff the url. Just create a filter in wireshark for m3u8.
