How to enable Stereo Mix in Dell Dimension 9100 (Windows XP SP3, Sigmatel sound card)

I need to record audio from my sound card, but I can't find the Stereo Mix option. I have Windows XP SP3 on my Dell Dimension 9100. It uses Sigmatel sound card. Please help!

Have you read the general instructions?
Missing sound recording option "Stereo Mix" / "Record What you hear" / "Waveout mix"

You can also try to download and install 5.10.5208_XP32_XP64_MCE_2K_STACGUI.EXE. This driver supports the "Stereo Mix" option for Dell Dimension 9100 with Windows XP Service Pack 3.

The driver may work on other laptops with Sigmatel Sound Card.
Make sure that your Sigmatel audio codec have a Device ID (To find out your device ID click "Start" -> "Control Panel" -> "System" -> "Hardware" -> "Device Manager" -> "Sounds, video and game controllers") of 7680, otherwise the audio driver can damage your system.
