Downloading videos from Google Chrome vs. Firefox

After having problem detecting stream URL from Google Chrome, I played the same stream in Firefox 4 and Replay Media Catcher detected it without any problem.

It appeared that Google Chrome sends the POST HTTP request without the content type:
Code:
POST /open/1 HTTP/1.1
User-Agent: Shockwave Flash
Host: n15.mos.cdn.online.ru
Content-Length: 1
Connection: Keep-Alive
Cache-Control: no-cache
While Firefox sends the content type:
Code:
POST /open/1 HTTP/1.1
Content-Type: application/x-fcs
User-Agent: Shockwave Flash
Host: n15.mos.cdn.online.ru
Content-Length: 1
Connection: Keep-Alive
Cache-Control: no-cache
Not sure why this has happened and whether this is always the case. But hope this may help you to download.

Re: Downloading videos from Google Chrome vs. Firefox

what is Google Chrome? a web browser??

i only use Internet Explorer. It comes with the Windows operating system, is stable and costs 0EUR. And many "internet software tools" base their functionality on the built-in Internet Explorer. If IE8 is missing on the PC, the tools wouldnt work (e.g. proxies of type C1 to C-3).

thanks for the info!

Google Chrome is a web-browser. I recommend you to try it (likewise Firefox and Opera) before making any statements.

I don't use I.E. since it is the worst web-browser. Thank god, neither Chrome, nor Firefox, nor Opera, nor Safari are based on I.E.
