Me too face the same problem.

2 days back I successfully downloaded couple of videos from hotstar using Adownloader. But from yesterday its showing download progress running but the temp files created are deleted at the end, and no file is actually downloaded. Not sure if hotstar is preventing some how, but is there any fix for this ?

Can anyone suggest how to download from hotstar.com

As you sugested i also use adownloader for a week, after that i can not get the *.mp4 video file. I only got .mp4.2.m3u8 and mp4dir folder only. i beg your kindly help

Hi,

The script uses a built-in indian proxy. If you are outside deactivate proxies online. Check if all the key files are 16 bytes long. If the muxing fails you can make it manually running in console ffmpeg -i ...2.m3u8 something.mp4

i have downloaded full episode but it gives output of only 12or 17 mins out of 30 min. then, i try to muxing manually by ffmpeg ,it gives conversion failed. "ffmpeg -i c:\hot.....mp4.2.m3u8 out.mp4"
red line give error "invalid data"
