@vanesn: you are doing right, just that your URL is expired. You need to follow the process and close the video as soon as you get the manifest url.

Please give the Link of the episode you want to download, so i can check.

i was downloading an episode from hotstar today (with adownloader) and my VPN had disconnected but the downloading continued (surprisingly FASTER!)......

so i just wanted to inform you all.. and i also noticed that hotstar works for me... without using a VPN.. maybe it'll work for you all too

Worked perfectly for me. Infact i never had any problem with livestreamer once it started working for me. Maybe try again and remember the code after master.m3u8 changes after every run .
