Where to download them.
The latest version, Replay Media Catcher 4.3.2 (released Sep 16 2011), doesn't support it and there are no public beta releases available for download. I guess we just have to wait for the next version to be released, which could in fact be relatively soon given that it's usually updated every few months. Can't wait though, since I have a whole bunch of Fora.Tv videos on my "to download" list

Re: How to dowload/capture Adobe HTTP Dynamic Streaming (F4F)?

using older version of replay media catcher, go to tools > settings
click capture http stream
click plugin option

click type drop down box > click video
under subtype put f4f
click the Use checkbox
click update

now you should see video/f4f in "target mime types" list
click close settings

now when you capture using Replay Media Catcher it should download some fragmented f4f adobe http fragmented video files.

but those arent very useful on their own. any programs to combine f4f files ? also doesnt seem to work very well.

i did not get jaksta trial to work on my sample, not sure if its because of trial 50% limitation?

Seems like the same problem i had before. Heres the tread I created for something similar. Just go to the links provided by CHAP. This works. I've tried it on the urls posted and they do get detected and compiled. I was unablet o try it for the Indian site as the content is not allowed for my country.

If you can't figure it out, let me know. I will try to create a video tutorial or something maybe as Chap did for me.

GetFLV says: GetFLV doesn't support HDS encrypted fragments now.

Thanks for giving the direction, I'm still having trouble figuring it out... a little bit more guidance (brief descriptitons of the steps to take) would be greatly appreciated!

Re: How to dowload/capture Adobe HTTP Dynamic Streaming (F4F)?

Hi,

I recently found a nice program called "Replay Media Catcher 5.0". This program can handle, join, convert and play any streaming video source.
Simply install the program and disable your firewall (or create a firewall rule that gives internet access to Replay Media Catcher).

Start the Program and open your internet browser. Go to your desired website and run the video that is propably displayed there.
Without doing anything further, you should be able to see that the Media Catcher has started to download your video stream.
When the download is completed, the program will automatically convert the output file to any desired format.

Download link:

P.S.
This program is shareware but after installing it you can use it for 30 days fully functional.
