do server specs improver http stream.

Ive no idea where to put this message so please move it to where you think it should be.

I have 4 on demand quicktime movies embedded on html page, http stream. they are very hi quality , what i need to know is would the server cpu and ram specs really help improve the speed that they would load on the viewers computer.
