How do I make my internet browser compatible with Microsoft Silverlight?

I recently subcribed to Netflix. To watch the movie on the computer you need a program called Microsoft Silverlight. I was able to download and install the program. But the program does not work. The Silverlight web page says that my browser is in 64 bit mode and this is not compatible with the program. Help please???!

You can download MS Silverlight from
"http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/get-started/install/default.aspx"

It does work for me in Windows 7 x64.

If it doesn't work for you, try to install Firefox x32 and watch Silverlight videos in it.
