How do I make a music CD that plays video in a DVD player?

How do I make a music CD that plays video in a DVD player?

I've been able to make a video CD that plays in a DVD player. I've been able to make a music CD. I've even done quite well at making an auto-running CD-Rom multimedia enhanced CD. I just can't get the Audio CD/Video Disc thing happening.

Can it be done, and if so, how do I do it?

Thanks,

Tony

Burning Audio CD with additional video clip (Mixed Mode CD)

In Nero Burning Rom such a CD is called Mixed Mode CD, in Nero Express - CD Extra (in Clone CD it is called Multimedia Audio CD, but you can only copy CDs with Clone CD).

Multimedia Audio CD was designed to copy multi session Audio CDs. Normally these are Audio CDs with an additional video clip.

Normally the additional video clip(s) are warched on a PC so they can be in a various formats including MPEG-4 AVC (h.264), XVid, DivX, Windows Media.

It is very easy to create such a CD with Nero Burning Rom or Nero Express. I suggest you to read the manual.

If you need further help, don't hesitate to ask.

And make sure to use a video clip in a format (XVid, DivX,...) and container (.avi, .mp4, .ogm, .mkv) supported by your DVD Player.

Also make sure to use the right settings when encoding video files into XVid, DivX or any other format.

And you can always use a CD-RW disc to test your Mixed Mode CD before burning a CD-R.
