copying folder name

hi, is there any way to copy the names of more than one folder at a time. i want
to make the list of folders contained in my CD in a word document. its very time consuming doing the copy/paste one by one for every folder. There must be some software to make the task easy.
Thank you,
Gaurav.

Re: copying folder name

I use Total Commander. It has a plug-in that can list filenames and folders.

Re: copying folder name

DD file catcher is much simpler than total commander.
Can you tell me how total commander works. I tried it but could not make out how to copy filenames. Its very complex.

Re: copying folder name

In Total Commander I select files by say pressing the Insert button. Then I click ALT+F5. Then instead of selecting an archive format I select external packer (.DKT or .LST). You need a plug-in to do that or use Total Commander Power Pack.

Re: copying folder name

Freeware Unreal Commander support WCX and WLX plug-ins used by Total Commander, so you may use it instead.
