Copy DVD-5 and DVD-9 discs to blank DVD discs

If your DVD has CSS protection, you need to rip it first. Use freeware DVD Decrypter or some other DVD ripper like AnyDVD.

To copy DVD-5 disc with DVD Decrypter:
  • Select the "ISO read" mode and save the ISO disc image to your hd.
  • After that select the "ISO" write mode and write the ISO image to a blank DVD disc.

If you have DVD-9 disc with is larger than 4.37 GB, than just copy your DVD in the IFO mode of DVD Decrypter. In this mode you can select which audio tracks, subtitles to copy.

You can re-compress a non-protected DVD-9 to DVD-5 with the latest versions of Nero. Many other programs allow you to do the same.

If you disc doesn't have any protection, use the "Copy disc" function of Nero. You can also use any other DVD burning software.
