Hi People,
We recently were on a tour to some beautiful places and have a video record of this. All my friends are wiling to watch this on a DVD on the big screen but I need to convert the video files into DVD format. Can anyone provide me with a software/site that can make me watch this video with my friends as we wish!!!!

Re: Convert videos recorded with my digital camera to DVD

If you don't wanna edit your videos, don't need high quality menus, you can use almost any video converter from freeware MediaCoder to shareware AVS Video Converter, Replay Converter.

If you need a DVD authoring software, you can use professional ones like Pinnacle Studio, Adobe Premiere.

You may also use a video editor like AVS Video Editor + DVD Authoring:
1. to capture video from MiniDV camera
2. to edit video and enhance your movies (apply different effects, transitions and styles)
3. to burn Movie DVD

Convert videos recorded intoDVD file......

Digital camera by default get JPEG format. JPEG has become the standard for smaller cameras because it has the highest compression.
If you have a canon camera, you can download the latest version (upgrade) and the software manual from the Canon USA website. The manual will explain how you can edit and save the files as either M-JPEG AVI or (Qucktime)MOV file formats....Or you can use any audio/video converter. As it supports a vast variety of files formats.
