How to start Jaksta Free Media Converter
Free Media Converter can be started by selecting the Convert Tool (Convert icon) on the Jaksta Free Media Recorder Toolbar in your browser. It will also start automatically when you have selected Send to Media Converter in Free Media Recorder or Free Radio Recorder.

Free Media Converter will run silently in the background with an icon in the task tray and appear automatically when new files are added.

When running in the background popups are displayed from the task tray when ever a conversion is finished. Clicking the task tray icon will display the main window at any time.

How to convert audio/video files using freeware Jaksta Free Media Converter

1. If you have selected to automatically Send to Media Converter from Free Media Recorder or Free Radio Recorder the file will automatically appear when the converter opens.
   
2. Picking other files to convert is easy: just click the Add Files button.
   
   
   
3. As you add files, a thumbnail of each file appears. You can remove a files from the conversion list by hovering the mouse cursor over the file's thumbnail, and clicking the "X" to delete it from the list.
   
   
   
4. When you are ready to convert, click the Convert button. You'll see the progress of the conversion job for each file like this:
