Connected but no data transmitted?

I am trying to access a rtmp stream via RTMPDump. The connection is successful but no data is transmitted between the the client and the server. Does that mean the feed is Protected by a DRM? Everything else on the client uses a cookie or access/session token to authenticate, I don't know if the RTMP requires any of this authentication. Is there anyway to test any of this? Any help would be much appreciated!

There is no way for anyone to help you without the link where from you are trying to access to the stream.

Its the nest cam/dropcam feed. Would appreciate any advice you can offer! I have been stuck for months
