connect a Samsung shr1041 dvr to a local computer using a Linksys BEFSR41 routerI am trying to connect a Samsung shr1041 dvr to a local computer using a Linksys BEFSR41 router. I can ping the dvr but i am unable to see the video. I am using logmein to see the host computer from the internet. I am using the Samsung SmartViewer 2.0 software. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance |

Re: connect a Samsung shr1041 dvr to a local computer using a Linksys BEFSR41 routerI would recommend not using logmein as the video quality is going to be poor. Otherwise what OS are you running? I've only been able to successfully log in with Windows XP. IE chokes it's self on vista and 7. Otherwise I would recommend to enable port forwarding for 6100 and 80 to the DVR's IP address.
