Connect my laptop with HDMI with my TV that has S-Video and RCA only

my laptop has the hdmi port to i guess hook up to a tv that also has it.

i know i can buy the cord for it but what if my tv doesnt have HDMI?
it just has the red yellow white inputs and a circle s-video thing.

is there a converter cable or something to get my laptops picture and sound to come from my tv?

is there a CABLE that i can plug an HDMI into and then into my TV?

You can probably find an HDMI adapter, but it will allow you to watch in SD quality only (not in HD).

Also many laptops have an S-Video or VGA, so you can either use an S-Video cable or a VGA to RCA adapter.

Another option of wathing videos on your TV is by using a network media player.
