How to capture and save (in harddisk) a video playing on Stream Torrent 1.0?

I have just install Stream Torrent 1.0 into my computer. I want to watch BBC news, CNN news,... and some others available on that. I can watch online, but I do not know how to capture those videos, save them in hardisk and replay it any time I want.
Please help me the way and program needed to do it.
If it is possible, I want to capture only a portion of the video. For example, I just capture 5 minutes from the news on BBC as it is playing. How can I do that?
Thank you in advance!

Re: How to capture and save (in harddisk) a video playing on Stream Torrent 1.0?

I've tried to record a Stream Torrent feed with freeware VLC player.

I opened and played the copied URL from Stream Torrent in VLC - no problem.

I then hit the Record button and after a while I saw the saved file (vlc-record-... .asf) in my videos folder - no problem.
After 10 minutes I stopped the recording.
But when I opened the saved file it had a duration of 0 secs.

I don't know how to solve the recording problem with VLC, so I currently I use screen video capture software for recording from Stream Torrent.

I tried to load a Stream Torrent feed into VLC and it wouldn't load. Here is the feed: st://A0MCgpwEdTsDOwaCoAHIgBY+rAX9WSyCVXGRs6ETGPO9ihcJQ2 hhemd1eXR2imEAikEHZGVmYXVsdIqiBlNwb3J0cw==

I copied and pasted the URL into the address for "Play Network Stream"

This is the error message I got:
Code:
Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'st://A0MCgpwEdTsDOwaCoAHIgBY+rAX9WSyCVXGRs6ETGPO9ihcJQ2 hhemd1eXR2imEAikEHZGVmYXVsdIqiBlNwb3J0cw=='. Check the log for details.
This is what the log says:
Code:

Right click on the Stream Torrent player and get the HTTP URL instead.
