Blinkbox DRM, requires wmp11 new IBXHi all,
So i bought a movie from blinkbox, a new UK based digital movie rental/purchase site and it requires wmp11 with the new BIX everyone seems to be talking about. So i went and downloaded the latest drmdbg (03/03/2009) and freeme2 from the sourceforge. I copied the purchased wmv file to my XP laptop via SD card and it obtained the file, updated the security comments and started the play the file. I then individualised using the link in all the tutorials using IE then ran drmdbg, which caused the video to start playing, it got the drm2.key fine, the SID and KID came up in the text box then i copied the SID to the clipboard and closed drmdbg. I then dragged the wmv onto the freeme2.bat, which then asked for the SID, which i pasted correctly and then it set to work. The video that was freed was green and purple blocky. I have tried this on 3 different XP machines, wmp11 final and wmp10(which required an upgrade to wmp11) and wmp11 beta 2, all require an upgrade and then produce a different SID on the different machines, all play the video fine but when freed, its green and purple blocky. The WMP11 version after mandatory update is:11.0.5705.5043 Mirakagi reports the IBX version being 11.0.6001.8015 Please help! Thanks, Josh. |

Re: Blinkbox DRM, requires wmp11 new IBXI haven't seen any updates for freeme2 or FairUse4WM that can handle WMP DRM when the latest updates are installed.
I can only suggest to use screen video capture software or lossy DRM removal software (that works the same way). |
