Black Magic Shuttle for recording from Xbox:Will PCIe USB 3.0 card work(x58 chipset)?Hello i am new to this so dont scream at me yet.
I want to buy the Black Magic Shuttle pro to record xbox 360 with. But: I havent got usb 3.0's ; will this still work if i get a PCIe usb 3.0's ?? i have a mini atx , dont know any other details , my pc is a Acer m7720 (EDIT) Intel core i7 920 6 GB RAM ATI HD 4850 1640 GB's .................. Baisicly i want to have a splitter from the xbox , one to the TV and one to the Shuttle, so i can still play on my TV and record( i have 2 screens for PC) Is that idea possible ??? THX Dom |

But since they are updated from time to time, it is a good idea to contact Blackmagic Design support to make sure Blackmagic Design Intensity Shuttle will work for you.
You seem to have x58 chipset, so you need a compatible PCI-E USB 3.0 card. And you will need a raid array as well. |

and i have ordered a usb 3.0 pci-e and that should work thx for the reply |
