Black Magic Shuttle for recording from Xbox:Will PCIe USB 3.0 card work(x58 chipset)?

Hello i am new to this so dont scream at me yet.
I want to buy the Black Magic Shuttle pro to record xbox 360 with.
But:
I havent got usb 3.0's ;
will this still work if i get a PCIe usb 3.0's ??
i have a mini atx , dont know any other details ,
my pc is a Acer m7720
(EDIT)
Intel core i7 920
6 GB RAM
ATI HD 4850
1640 GB's
..................
Baisicly i want to have a splitter from the xbox , one to the TV and one to the Shuttle, so i can still play on my TV and record( i have 2 screens for PC)
Is that idea possible ???
THX
Dom

I've mentioned the requirements for Blackmagic Design Intensity Shuttle some time ago. But since they are updated from time to time, it is a good idea to contact Blackmagic Design support to make sure Blackmagic Design Intensity Shuttle will work for you.

You seem to have x58 chipset, so you need a compatible PCI-E USB 3.0 card. And you will need a raid array as well.

Please quote their reply if possible. This can help other users as well, since not every PCI-E card will work.
Thank you in advance!
