you're a user and fan of
RMC 4, arent you? i am too. let's not confuse the boardies. RMC4 does not
extract the audio but it uses ffmpeg to
convert the audio (within the FLV-file) from its original format within the FLV (can be mp3, aac, ...) to your specified format (can,
again, be mp3, mp4, m4a, ...).
audio
extraction is a lossless process. (FLVExtract)
audio
conversion is a lossy process. (RMC
4 )
RMC
3 does have the functionality to
extract mp3 from flv, given that the flv contains original mp3 audio data. but with flv's from myspace, RMC3 has problems to identify and extract the mp3 data.
anyway we can cut the discussion (or the thread). audio from myspace is low bitrate (96kbps. not 128!) and i am not interested in wasting my time with playing with such kiddo audio thanks!
all audio i download and archive (collect) is in 192-320. exceptional rare albums exist in LQ (64, 128). but myspace couldnt be called
an exception: it is a whole huge website!!
