Best Laptop/Systems for video EditingHi,
I need to edit videos to make them of quality which could be telecast on TV channels. Till i was using my old PC. Since now i need to edit them of good quality so i need to buy a laptop (preferably) or a desktop which suffice the editing requirements. 1) Could you please help me with spec/configuration? 2) Could you please help me figure which laptop would be a best buy - DELL, SONY, Toshiba. I want one which is windows based so Apple is no more an option. Please provide your guidance. Thanks in anticipation of a quick reply! |

Re: Best Laptop/Systems for video EditingAgain, get a camcorder first. Then see how it can be connected to your PC.
I don't do professional video editing, so can't suggest you the best laptop. Personally I would go for a core i7 PC with at least 6GB of RAM and a nice discrete graphics card. Not sure using a laptop for video editing is a good idea, because most probably you will need a bigger monitor or even a couple of them. I've been using a 17" 1080p laptop. It is very heavy and can be used on a flat surface only, so I never take it with me. And its 17" screen is not big enough for me. |
