banking.senate.gov: How to capture video from JW FLV Media Player(rtmp:// .flv video)Hi. I'm having a similar problem except there is no clear-cut information from looking at the source. The video is from the Senate Banking Cmte.'s hearing on the auto industry.
Code:

Re: banking.senate.gov: How to capture video from JW FLV Media Player(rtmp:// .flv vI didn't have much luck playing that url in the suggested program or my recently updated VLC player. I tried variations like
rtmp://fms.senate.gov/Committee/vCommFiles/banking120408&start=945.flv rtmp://fms.senate.gov/Committee/vCommFiles/banking120408&start=945 rtmp://fms.senate.gov/Committee/vCommFiles/banking120408 rtmp://fms.senate.gov/Committee/vCommFiles/banking120408.flv and still didn't get any playback. However, I did try out Rip Tiger and that seems to be doing the trick. I would feel better if I was able to see or figure out the url that is being used, but at least I got the video. Thanks, noob2001204! |

Re: banking.senate.gov: How to capture video from JW FLV Media Player(rtmp:// .flv vAFAIK VLC player doesn't support RTMP streams.
You can try Replay Media Catcher or any other RTMP Flash stream recorder to capture streaming videos from banking.senate.gov. To play Flash .FLV videos you may use freeware players:How to play FLV videos Related link: Tutorial: How to capture free streaming videos from U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs with Replay Media Catcher |
