avtech 760: Copy and burn a section of the video to a DVD or CDI have an avtech 760. I would like to copy and burn a section of the video to a dvd or cd. How can I do that? I am new at this. I had a DVR set up to capture video of my vehicle and I caught a wrecker slamming a towed vehicle into other vehicles and driving off. I need to put the video on something that I can give the police.
Thanks! |

Re: avtech 760: Copy and burn a section of the video to a DVD or CDDepending on a model AVTech 760-762 DVRs can support one or more of the following backup methods:
AVTech 760-762 DVR use MPEG4 or MJPEG format for recording:
The backup file can be played directly in your PC via the supplied licensed software AP, or via other media players (ex: Windows Media Player, VLC) after the file is converted to "AVI"" format. Note: For model 3, you need to backup from network via supplied AP software. Note: Before making a video backup with audio, you need to check whether there's any audio camera connected to the channel which supports audio recording, and there's any recorded data for the channel. For model 1, 2 & 5: Please choose CH1 and / or CH2 to backup video with audio. For model 3 & 4: Please choose CH1 to backup video with audio.

Re: avtech 760: Copy and burn a section of the video to a DVD or CDThe backup file can be played directly in your PC via the supplied licensed software AP. It can also be played with other media players (Ex: Windows Media Player or VLC) after the file is converted to “AVI” format).
To convert the backup to AVI:
Please note that the converter produces low quality AVI files. You can try to provide your backup with the AP software to the police, although they will probably won't be willing to install any unknown software. You can also use a TV input card to record the "DVR video out". You can record to MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 that can be played by police without any problem. You can also author a DVD-Video disk from a recorded MPEG-2 file. |

Re: avtech 760: Copy and burn a section of the video to a DVD or CDSee the user manual. If you don't have it on a CD/DVD, then download it from AVTech.
