I have noticed that after some program appears like CamgirlzREC people from MFC something changes quickly so that the program is no longer working. So it takes a bit of effort for Node Master Recorder.

It's an interesting fact. But as far as I know, the MFCRecorder (Asudem version) worked for more than one year, with no updates! (late 2015 - early 2017)

It's on MFC's end. The site doesn't load and they're working on it according to their twitter.

UPDATE: I just checked the sites, I'm not using any recorder.

horacio claimed that anytime someone makes an easy to use mfc capper that mfc changes something in order to break it.

mfmax points out that isn't a valid claim because mfcrecorder worked for quite some time. Even after MFC started offering higher bitrates it continued to work, just without the higher quality bitrates for MONTHS before a mfc change finally killed it.

Seems to be the same here, I had MFC open and was working fine on desktop then opened recorder, did a refresh a bit later and MFC won't load for me now. Turned recorder off and still won't load. Tried on my phone on my wifi and it won't work but if I disable wifi and go on data it loads in fine. They must be tracking our IP's that are connecting to there servers in an unusual way and blocking them.

Finally after about 20 minutes or so with recorder off I can load site on desktop.

Don't worry, they don't track you, they expiriencing problems with xchat servers today. Some of them work, some not. Every time you connecting to mfc, you connecting to random server.

update: Seems they track how do you use xchat server and block your IP if you don't send some data. Need to implement mfc protocol.

I've just tried on my Mac and got .exe file, but I cannot test it, cause I'm a macOS user. Horacio, can you do it? Looks like it should be quite simple to create an standalone app.

@supersonic80, thanks for the idea ;) I made a little effort and made a MFC exe who worked only 10 minutes and 20 seconds, because Igor Klopov asked to pay for key for the release without time limitation.
I am found a similar program who is better for free ;) at https://github.com/zeit/pkg/
For MFC, CB and SU I made 3 variants (Windows, MacOS and Linux) ... I tried Windows, @Supersonic80 will try macOS and I hope someone will test Linux files.
Currently, the MFC files does not support browser (http://localhost:9080/) but I hope it will be fixed very soon.
I put my config.yml for MFC and put all models on 0. If you want some of these models to be recorded, you need to replace 0 with 1. Other config options must be also edited to yourself preferences.
Make sure you put your own Login/Password combinations for ChaturBate and ShowUp.
Leave the files in the same directories as in rar. Here I am thinking for C:\nm-mfc\, C:\nm-cb\ and C:\nm-su\
pkg.bat can be in C:\Windows. I recommend shortcut for pkg.bat put in the taskbar for easy launch.

I wouldn't worry too much about that, so far bans only lasted 30 minutes, I let it happen a good few times in one day and I'm a premium member myself.

Also based on his screenshot, looks like his version is up to date with the one that doesn't ban you.

big problem when i exit your app when streams captured they aren't playable at all :( and there is no way to fix them as well :(

What files do you get: .f4v or .ts?
If .f4v does not work for you there was a .ts version a couple message down, find it and use it.

The app starts an ffmpeg process for every model you want to record, then monitor these procesess.
If the model stops broadcasting, the app moves the model's file from capturing to complete directory.
You should be able to play files from complete directory without any problems (if you have compatible video player).

When you stop the app, you actually do not stop ffmpeg processes.
The files in capturing directory will be "locked", unless the model stop streaming and ffmpeg "releases" the file automatically or you kill all ffmpeg processes manually.

I have not yet encountered such a bad situation with the MFC as in the picture. Here's what MFC looks like at the moment:

Anyone who wants to try my new version of Mfc Node Recorder 2.0.0 can do download zip here:

downloaded it and got it running but it just stops recording right after it starts.

If you see something like "Model stopped streaming" then you probably have an issue with ffmpeg. Check that you have it and your OS knows where to find it.

Check config.yml ... second line must be:

dateFormat: DDMMYYYY-HHmmss

... in my version. You can put ffmpeg.exe in directory where is all files, although it's enough to be somewhere in the path.

You can download last version from the same link:

https://codeload.github.com/horacio9a/mfc-node/zip/v2

... added filename for recorded files + file size and some other little changes in text.

Open main.js
find and comment out these lines (193-194)

'-v',
'fatal',

should be something like this

// '-v',
// 'fatal',

start the script again. Then, either solve the problem by yourself based on new error messages from ffmpeg or send the new output to this forum.

To me this looks like the model 'SPLENDID__' was 'AWAY' or 'PRIVATE' at that moment. In principle, it makes no sense to try to record a model if its 'preview' image can not be obtained under column 'Menu' and 'Name' in your browser. Try to record some other models ;)

I have tried it with alot of different models and even up to 4-5 at one time but its the same with all of them and im sure she wasn't away or in a private at the moment of this.

It may be a date format problem, so try changing it to congfig.yml

dateFormat: YYYYMMDD-HHmmss

Also try with other captureDirectory:

captureDirectory: 'C:\Videos\MFC'
captureDirectory: 'C:\Videos\MFC\'
captureDirectory: 'C:\Videos\MFC\\'

I had this problem too when I was playing with the original script. I know for fact, the m3u8 file is empty that is why ffmpeg fails. But that time I thought this is "no mobile feed" case and I did not try to "dig dipper".

There are several possible explanations of this:
1) There are new servers without mobile streams (I guess in the past it was some check some thing like this camserv < 840 = "no mobile fee")
2) MFC changed the URL to mobile feed for some servers.

It looks weird to you;)
For example, I can not find files that make a errors for you like:

events.js: 160

I found only (C:\-nm-mfc2\node_modules\bluebird\js\main\util.js) but that's not 'yours' it has only 321 lines!
Can you locate which file doing errors for you and write a full file path?

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who is engaged and working on the development of mfc-node. Great job! ;)

I'm begining to use the precompiled version of the node and it works perfectly. Is it possible to edit the files name format (models) and create output folders separately? (useful to organize the recordings). Something that could be configured in the config.yml file, for example. Is there any way to do it?

You have a lot of surprises and I think it would be best to make a new directory where you will only put the files from my zip and make the installation according to the instructions from README.md
Otherwise I do not have files:

events.js
net.js

... which causes for you errors. I also think that files are an unbeatable surplus.

It sounds like you are running node.

If your run the 'node' command in your shell it will run node's own environment. You can't call NPM from in here.

Type '.exit' and this will exit node and go back to your shell. Now you can run npm.

Once that's done, you have to run 'node main' to start the script.

Download Nodejs and install it https://nodejs.org/dist/v6.11.1/node-v6.11.1.pkg

Download script https://github.com/sstativa/mfc-node/archive/master.zip

Unzip it, suppose it will be in your Downloads folder

Download ffmpeg and unpack it https://evermeet.cx/ffmpeg/ffmpeg-3.3.2.7z

Find ffmpeg file and drag-and-drop it in mfc-node-master folder

Start Terminal (Launchpad -> Others -> Terminal)
execute line by line

cd ~/Downloads/mfc-node-master
npm install
node main.js

When it starts, wait ~20 seconds and open url in your browser
http://localhost:9080

If it work, you can try to do the same with this package

OK I think i figured out part of the problem. I use another USER account on my mac for all my porn-y stuff. When I try to run anything in terminal from that account, nothing works. I followed the instructions perfectly.

Soooo, I logged into my main account and tried to install everything there and it seemed to work. Well kinda  It installs everything per the instructions and when I go to http://localhost:9080 I see the models. but when I try to include one i get an ffmpeg error after it refreshes & it crashes

events.js:160
throw er; // Unhandled 'error' event

at _combinedTickCallback (internal/process/next_tick.js:80:11)
at process._tickCallback (internal/process/next_tick.js:104:9)

and when I tried the other package I get the same grey screen with the loading circle like a few posts before

and when I tried the precompiled version from a while back i get the same error I got in my post before
Error: ENOENT: no such file or directory, open 'config.yml'

Id prefer to run everything on my "2nd" account. If thats possible. Its supposed to be an admin too if that helps, but I cant get anything to even run there. Im no computer dummy, just never had a use for learning to use terminal. So unless somebody can tell me what Im doing wrong, or our buddy Antihero comes back, this all seems like it might be WAY more trouble than its worth. At least for me.
Bummer. Means Im going to have to go back to screen recording only what Im awake for... without any sound... BOOO!

The easiest way to fix it will be to copy ffmpeg in /usr/local/bin. If you downloaded you ffmpeg into Downloads directory, then the command will look like this
sudo cp ~/Downloads/ffmpeg /usr/local/bin

I'm using the precompiled version, but I notice some models are not picked up.

When I restart the program they are back.

Has it something to do on what server we login?

Read README.md file or use "precompiled" versions of updated original script

I've also added the option to choose between the 'ts' format like in the original version and the 'flv' format which I prefered so far.
So in the config.yml just type 'ts' or 'flv' like this:

fileFormat: ts

This is a new version of something I posted 7 days ago. This time I did not want to be complicated and everything applies to the Win-x86 variant.
I see that most of you have a lot of problems with NodeJs installation so I hope this will overcome these problems.
Leave the files in the same directories as in rar. Here I am thinking for C:\nm-mfc\, C:\nm-cb\ and C:\nm-su\
nm.bat can be in root or C:\Windows. I recommend shortcut for nm.bat put in the taskbar for easy launch.
You need to edit config.yml files in all 3 directories. Make sure you put your own Login/Password combinations for ChaturBate and ShowUp.
For MFC read README.md and look the 2 screenshots. My recommendation is to use the Chrome browser with the installed add-on 'Play HLS M3u8'

It sounds like you are running node.

If your run the 'node' command in your shell it will run node's own environment. You can't call NPM from in here.

Type '.exit' and this will exit node and go back to your shell. Now you can run npm.

Once that's done, you have to run 'node main' to start the script.

Open notepad. Enter the code given below and save it in the application folder as a .bat file (run.bat, runCapture.bat, etc.). Click on the script that will launch the node.

pushd %cd%

node main

Thanks moooby and Damianonymous for the help tips, after several attempts and research, I finally got the mfc-node working! :D :D :D

I'm begining to use the precompiled version of the node and it works perfectly. Is it possible to edit the files name format (models) and create output folders separately? (useful to organize the recordings). Something that could be configured in the config.yml file, for example. Is there any way to do it?

That day was finally arrived;)
Each model is recorded in a separate folder now ;)

A gray screen and a circling circular trying to load the page on the browser?

Same with me, does not load pages.

Great update with choice of ts / flv format. It would be useful to create / not create a subfolder for models. Opening M3U8 to the default player as ZeChico version also.

I checked again zip files and everything works without any problems.
That's why I upload my precompiled version: http://stream-recorder.com/forum/showpost.php?p=92836&postcount=1106
BTW I am also now using my precompiled version because for start is enough to press enter in 'nm.bat' batch script.
My recommendation is to use the Chrome browser with the installed Play HLS M3u8 extension https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/play-hls-m3u8/ckblfoghkjhaclegefojbgllenffajdc/related
I'm sure that for Firefox exists a similar add-on but we have not discovered it yet.

I have tried this and made it work in less than 10 minutes for MFC. There could be some little tweaks in the future but even like this it works great.

@Damianonymous you are 100% right. And I have repeatedly regretted that it is not the same file size on my computer and in zip downloaded from github.
So i deleted index.html and made upload to github as a file, not through the github editor as before.
Also thanks for the 'Native HLS Playback' link for firefox. Now 'Mob./true' video preview working OK also on Firefox browser.
It looks even more stable than the Chrome version of the same add-on ;)
For the reason that you and some others do not like subfolder variant i made an exe version without subfolder option.

Is there any way to use .f4v instead of .flv/.ts? When using flv or ts, both VLC and MPC-HC load the videos for like 3 seconds each time I try to skip to different parts of the video. It get's annoying after a while :p. There was another version I saw on here a few weeks ago that used .f4v, and the videos played perfectly for me.

EDIT: Or if there's any suggestions you might have to make FLV's play better, I'd appreciate that as well.

Obviously something is wrong with your pc adjustment. The first time I hear about such a problem. You can try rename flv to f4v with 'ren *.flv *.f4v' in Command prompt for the test but that is not the solution.
I guess you don't have the appropriate 'flv' codec so I suggest you install the latest version for your pc from this link:

FLV source files are killer for old disks. While jumping forward on a large file, the disc works 100% and the movie freezes up for several dozen seconds. The mpv player does the best job but it still aches in the ass :D

All data is pulled. I was mistaken in the previous answer, it is necessary to wait a while until the data is loaded, if they are not already loaded or do not exist, the "undefined" appears.

Everything working correctly with the new version of node!

So from now is the same file for everyone about selecting a recording subfolder or not. New in config.yml is this:

directoryFormat: id+nm # You can choose between 'id+nm','nm+id','id' and 'nm' separate subdirectory format (Of course only if the previous option is 'true')

No offense to those of you working on node but node was always just a work around, we need a more permanent solution.

Each of us has different wishes how must look our MFC program and what options it should have. Just in the example of 'CamGirlzREC' I was convinced of it. At a time when @antihero was active and I gave him some of my suggestions that he accepted except for the last about file format who is important for me but not for most of you. For this reason, I have added to the node the option of choosing the options we are discussing. As far as the 'permanent solution' from the practice is concerned, it has been proven that the node is a more durable solution because there are so many people who working on them and when one of them 'disappears' like an @antihero, the node project goes further because they are not dependent on individuals like @antihero or earlier @elgero etc
Most important thing for me is Chinese proverb: 'No matter what color is the cat, as long as it can catch mice'

For that reason I have keep all the data without reduce, and to keep everything easy to access, I duplicated some functions from the left to the right side of the browser.
I'd like some of you to try it out and say your mind if that makes sense?

I like the layout of this index.html file. It's nice having all the fields available.

I would like to make a suggestion though. Would it be possible to make the header always apprear at the top. When you scroll down the page, you lose the fist row and the name of every column.

I'm glad you like this way of displaying all data for MFC models.
I agree that it would be good to keep an eye on the first row with names. I'm not an expert for html but I hope somebody else will find a solution to it.
This is not a problem for me, because I can immediately recognize what the data is about.
I often use the F3 search option on Chrome to search, and most importantly, I can easily include the recording when I found a model that I'm interested in.

That is true, you have to be very lucky to open the page, I have only been a few times

Use DeveloperTools in Chrome to trace the error.

If there is inconsistency in opening the page then I suppose the data received from the script is corrupted.

Sometimes this could happen if the model uses some "weird" characters in her fields (ex. topic) and your browser fails to parse this data correctly.

horacio
07-31-2017, 03:03 AM
And I've noticed that index.html loads very slowly because I put all possible models data.
Obviously, some of you having a slower computers or a slower Internet connection are having problems.
It was a test so I decided to remove all the data which take longer time to load after the changes on the MFC server itself.
Those who want to have all model data can always return the index.html that was earlier ;)
I have sorted models by the 'state' criteria so now at the top you can see which models are currently being recorded so that you can stop recording if you don't want it.
There are still some minor changes to the code.

Horacio, the problem only concerned the index in your Node.js versions. Your exe, Supersonic and ZeChico indexes open in 2-3 seconds. My 100 MB connection should not be a problem here. As Sergey wrote, there must be some problem with the transmission of data from the script.

I precompiled alternative version as "proof of concept". Who wants to try it?

mfc-node-win64.zip (https://mega.nz/#!4jgUyawS!nEGEWzh0VLaFwrhZAalgYyQXlhC5dlZO1hxpW31 cR-4)

mfc-node-win32.zip (https://mega.nz/#!9yx3UCxB!HeRc-IpaxLqkpBglmtlE6k5e3hUGhhfHeN0CsnWrgkY)

Very cool index, you do with Horacio a great job. The error I noticed, createModelDirectory is changing itself back to false on true. I wonder how many people use your application, looking at the number of views of the topic (Last 44 days - 88.991 views), interesting how many people bought you coffee?

Yes, you are right about createModelDirectory. That version should not have this issue:
win64 (https://mega.nz/#!JuBmiYgQ!IDoK72H9szMr0Oacmw2Z1ArL-jxqB7mtxiKQoeHZGdA)

win32 (https://mega.nz/#!8iRDgYzR!FJPhWv9cWj8SVe6w5krj5a5K5-vIV6TUKFmfdO-Ea0w)

And to answer your question you should open the link, all info is there, looks like so far 14 coffees have been bought by 3 people.

Here is my version of node.js MFC Recorder v.2.0.6
There are plenty of new stuff. Basically, config.yml has remained the same which means that all of the options so far are still present.
The instructions are written in config.yml. If you click on the thumbnail image, you get the current high-resolution model image (960x720).
For 'No Mobile Feed' models you get a 320x240 image link that you need to open in your new browser window if you want to see the situation in the room.
If you want to enter the room you should as far as click on State/Online. You will see other news after launching the program;)

Hello Horacio, I've tried the latest version of your node script. I'm having issues with loading the UI in my browser. I can see the spinner however, the model data does not get displayed. It only shows the spinner. I have tried it on Firefox, IE, and Edge with the same result. I have tried both the zip and git-hub versions with the same result. Everything was working perfectly until this latest UI update. The script is still able to record the models I've already added to the config file.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Thanks.

Probably someone would say that he has a similar problem so I assume that's something about your windows.
Try replacing my index.html with this original:

This can help to find where there is a possible error.

I'm glad that this version is working for you.
Meanwhile I decided to change the concept of index.html.
I remove 'blurb' and 'topic' from the main table and switched to 'spinner'.
So far, search has searched only 'model name', 'city' and 'country' in 'spinner'.
Now added other text information from 'spinner' ('ethnic', 'occupation', 'blurb' and 'topic') for search sort.
I increased the spinner width twice because of the reduction in the number of rows.
Instead of 'blurb' and 'topic' I returned all the other data to the main table so it is now possible to sort the models according to different criteria.
Probably this has slowed down the search, but it is much easier to find certain models according to certain criteria.

These errors are thrown by MFCAuto module that handles communication with MFC servers.

You can try to install https://www.npmjs.com/package/forever

Hey Horacio,

really liking the program, but i'm confused about what the 'queue' option is for in the config file. I'm confused on how it works or how I can/should use it.

I haven't even messed with it yet because i didn't want to screw things up with my current node settings.

You should not touch it, it is for "internal" use only.

All your requests from WebUI go to the queue. Then the script checks the queue every 30 seconds and apply your changes.

Since the beginning of August I have problems with record a streams with ffmpeg. Periodically skipped pieces of streams for several seconds. It's easy to check if you convert a ts-file to mkv, for example, use ffmpeg. The resulting video will be shorter by a few minutes (depending on the length of the original video). I can place an example if necessary.

I ask you to check if you have similar problems. Does anyone have a program / script to write the stream using the rtmp protocol IN AUTOMATIC MODE (I do not mean a utility that requires a specific link to the page with a video or url stream)?

At the moment I'm trying to understand whether this problem is local or is another problem with MFC servers. In addition, there are a large number of streams that are not written in the current way. Recording streams using the rtmp protocol is more reliable and universal at the moment.

Just 2 days ago I saw your post on https://github.com/sstativa/mfc-node/issues/37 with the same topic but I have not yet tested myself.
Look my post (http://stream-recorder.com/forum/showpost.php?p=93533&postcount=230). TS file recorded with that script when with ffmpeg is converted to FLV using Horacio_TS_FIX.bat is not shorter, exactly the opposite, flv is 1 second longer than TS original.

Try FFmpeg + WinFF for ease of use.

"Winff is a frontend for FFMPEG that runs on Windows XP to Windows 10 and Linux. It will convert most any video file that FFmpeg will convert. WinFF does multiple files in multiple formats at one time. You can for example convert mpeg's, flv's, f4v, and mov's, all into avi's all at once. F4V to AVI."

What format do I convert it to and then what do I use?

You can use a bat file or forever

Bat file contents:

ECHO Starting program, attempt %foo%
node main.js
set /A foo=foo+1
timeout 30
goto :initiate

Installation
$ [sudo] npm install forever -g

Usage
forever start app.js

I suppose you did not use the start command, failing to download might be caused by your firewall. To test if it was installed try:
forever --help

Those commands might only work inside a node.js command prompt. I am still using the bat file, but Horacio recommended 'forever'.

You can use a bat file or forever

Bat file contents:
@echo off
SET foo=1
:initiate
ECHO Starting program, attempt %foo%
node main.js
set /A foo=foo+1
timeout 30
goto :initiate

Forever:
https://www.npmjs.com/package/forever

My node disconnects 3 to 4 times a day. The bad part is im getting about 80GB of files a day :D

Now it's working, thanks.

There's written:
"warn: --minUptime not set. Defaulting to: 1000ms
warn: --spinSleepTime not set. Your script will exit if it does not stay
up for at least 1000ms
info: Forever processing file: main.js"

As i understood, if during 1000ms i wont have internet connection, it will stop recording till i wont write again forever start main.js ?

Also, i want to ask you, is it always gonna be that window of ffmpeg.exe will be jumping out when the new model is online?

I'm curious of the same thing. It appears it is running correctly since I can access the web URL, but it does throw up a ffmpeg process for every model recording. Is there a way to only show the usual process? Using Windows.

If you want a reliable MFC script that runs without any difficulty in the last half of the year and if you don't want to record a large number of models at the same time then this is the right script for you.

Any plans to add support for recording from cammunity.com? It is run by the same folks as MFC and I can see some of my favourite MFC models using it in future for the non-nude parts of their shows since it does not negatively impact MFC camscore. Would it be safe to assume it uses the same underlying technology?

It is best to install each module individually one by one like this:

pip install urllib
pip install DateTime
pip install requests
pip install Command
pip install colorama
pip install termcolor
pip install configparser
pip install websocket

... but before that look what modules you already have with this command:

pip list

You have an old version of urllib3 (1.9.1) so you need to install a new one:

pip install urllib3==1.21.1

For urllib try:

pip install https://pypi.python.org/packages/da/97/7ed06ae96106088e13e88fd6f91c17fb58786d705b851f82c9 91664b08db/urllib-1.21.1.tar.gz

Do not forget to install the websocket-client:

pip install websocket-client==0.37.0

Download link for new version 1.0.5 zip file is: https://github.com/horacio9a/myfreecams-anonymous/archive/master.zip

Check if there is a recording path you put in config.cfg. If it does not exist, create it. My recommendation is to have ffmpeg.exe and ffplay.exe in C:/Windows together with mfc.bat, which should be in the path by default ... if not check http://stream-recorder.com/forum/showpost.php?p=93758&postcount=509 again.

The output folder must be manually created, the script does not do it. The line should end with a slash, for example: D:\Videos\myfreecams-anonymous-master\captures\ or if in the same folder: .\captures\

if i put the "\" at the end it doesnt record at all not even in the path where the mfc.py file is...when i tried other paths (where i created the folder myself) i tried with the backslash at the end and without it but stiill didnt work for either cases.

HI dear forum users, help me please !!!! Can someone throw me a detailed manual how to record myfreecams.com??? The fact that I read 101 pages, and could not figure it out

https://github.com/sstativa/mfc-node

Setup
1. Install Node.js (minimum node version requirement: v6).
2. Download and unpack the code.
3. Open Terminal (macOS) or Command Prompt (Windows) and go into the directory where you unpacked the files.
4. Install requirements by running npm install in the same directory as main.js is (Windows users may have to install Git).
5. Edit config.yml file and set desirable values for captureDirectory, completeDirectory, modelScanInterval.
6. Install ffmpeg. For Windows users, copy ffmpeg.exe into same directory as main.js is.

Hardest part for me was finding the ffmpeg for windows :D

After you get sstativa working, try horacio's version. Horacio also made a whole bunch of other versions (bat, exe,...). There is also a single file version somewhere in the thread (not sure how updated it is).

I'm curious of the same thing. It appears it is running correctly since I can access the web URL, but it does throw up a ffmpeg process for every model recording. Is there a way to only show the usual process? Using Windows.

Will anybody tell is it possible to fix? (Forever mfc-node)

I did not get it. What is the problem?
1 model = 1 ffmpeg process.

The script is only a "manager". It finds the model then starts ffmpeg process for her stream.

I believe it is possible but I have not been doing this and I have no intention. Recording a group is similar to private recording and in that case it is better not to discuss it publicly in this forum;)

Hallo zusammen,

habe mal ne kleine batch für windows geschrieben.
Also bei mir funktioniert es.

"mfc.exe" in "mfc.bac" umbenennen.
Neue Datei erstellen z.b. "mfc.bat".
Wichtig, die datei muß mit ".bat" enden.

Folgende Soße reinkopieren.
___________

@echo off
:Start
copy "mfc.bac" "mfc.exe"
mfc.exe
:Test
timeout 10
del "mfc.exe"
if %ERRORLEVEL%==0 goto Start
if NOT %ERRORLEVEL%==0 goto Test
_____________

"mfc.bat" starten, fertig

I just found out, that i have no access to almost all video chats, i can see the text messages, but not the video!
I tried different browsers, with different computers, i changed my IP! It's not the flash plugin, it works fine on all other sites, like cam4 and chaturbate and it's the newest version, only on mfc it doesn't work!
For example: i have acces to JULIANACANDY's and CocoMia's video chat, but not to SuperPanda_'s or Allesia_'s.
MFC worked fine till maybe 5 or 6 hours ago, since then it doesn't work well in the most chat rooms. The issue has to be on MFC's side?
It doesn't matter if i try it as a premium member or as a guest, with or without VPN, always the same result, i have no acces to 90% of the video chats!
... and the technical MFC support-link doesn't work, it loads and loads.....

Howsoever, hopefully they fix it, i just purchased tokens there...:D

Just to add another data point - I've had the same issue a couple of times over the past week or so. I could view some models but not others in the browser and others would show blank instead of video and MFC Node would report "$modelname stopped recording" on the affected models over and over again.

It also affected desktop and mobile browsers for the same model. I don't know if it is a trial of some new DRM to prevent recording but if it is, it doesn't work very well as three other models I was recording at the same time were still recordable/viewable. Perhaps it is simply one of those random MFC bugs we have come to know and love(?)

I assume you use Windows because you've mentioned cmd. If you got the right scripts then you should already have rtmpdump.exe and librtmp.dll files.

If you have them in the folder with the script and it does not work then copy these two files somewhere like C:\Windows\system32.

If you don't have these files, then download this release (https://github.com/sstativa/capturebate-node/archive/master.zip), rtmpdump.exe and librtmp.dll should be there.

hello. thx for the answer. but to be honest im not sure how to make it work. i opened the config.yml at models i put the name of the model inside the brackets [name] ...i saved the file and run the main file. It opend a cmd window it started to run the code and found 1 model in config.yml but its not recording. (i also put the ffmpeg in the folder) . do i need to install other programs or do other steps to make it work?

restore the original config.yml, just put the directory location in the config.yml.

Start mfc.exe and wait 10 seconds then goto http://localhost:9080/ in chrome, from there click a models picture and click include, now go back to your config.yml and check the model format it added.

yml needs to have a compatible editor or it will read out wrong and crash the application, dont paste stuff from straight txt editor into it etc...

Usually you should not do any changes in config.yml, except checking destination directories.

As soon as you start the program you should open url in your browser http://localhost:9080 (make sure that port number matches the port number in config.yml, usually it is 9080).

I suppose when you open the page you will easily figure out what to do next.

I'm having trouble installing Horacio's version of mfc-node found here. https://github.com/horacio9a/mfc-node

I've installed Node.js and ffmpeg. But in the setup section i'm having trouble with
#4 "Install requirements by running npm install in the same directory as mfc.js is."

Problem is i don't see an 'mfc.js', just 'main.js'

Where can I find 'mfc.js'?

I'm running Linux Mint 18 xfce if that helps any.

BTW i'm brand new to pretty much all of this. Node.js, mfc-node, mfc-auto, etc. Even if I do get it all installed and working I'm not even sure how to start up the program to record.

It’s the same file, different name. The correct instruction will be to run ‘npm install’ command in the same directory with package.json file.

Thank you. I did that and it brought up this.

npm notice created a lockfile as package-lock.json. You should commit this file.
added 36 packages in 7.893s

Not sure if I did it wrong or not. I opened the terminal by right clicking inside the mfc-node-2 folder I unpacked and clicked "Open in terminal", then typed npm install and got that message.

Having a bit of a problem with Horacio's mfc-node-2

I was reading a few pages back on this thread and saw the Forever app mentioned, so I installed it using:
Installation
$ [sudo] npm install forever -g

Usage
forever start app.js

I ran it in the right directory and it threw up warnings about minUptime not set, --spinTime not set, etc.
So i decided to figure out that stuff later and start back up mfc-node the usual way: node main.js.

But upon doing so I now get this message:

Error: listen EADDRINUSE :::9080
at Object._errnoException (util.js:1021:11)
at _exceptionWithHostPort (util.js:1043:20)
at Server.setupListenHandle [as _listen2] (net.js:1344:14)
at listenInCluster (net.js:1385:12)
at Server.listen (net.js:1469:7)

at Function.Module.runMain (module.js:665:10)
at startup (bootstrap_node.js:187:16)
at bootstrap_node.js:608:3

Any idea what the problem could be?

EDIT TO ADD: Also sometimes I get this message:

throw err;
