Hi all,
I have a problem trying to record some internet radio stations I'd like to record to listen to later.
The particular ones I am having a problem with are the GCap group of stations.
For example, 2CR radio is a radio station which is reasonably local to me but is not in range of FM radio or DAB...
The stream URL appears to be http://mediaweb.musicradio.com/playlist.asx?show=22
This then appears to direct to http://mediasrv.musicradio.com/2CR?WMContentBitrate=40000
I am using Replay AV (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-AV-capture-Streaming-Video-Audio-Radio-Shows-Online-TV-Broadcasts-Video-Clips-Audio-Archives-Podcasts-Free-to-try.htm) and it just will not capture the stream. I've also tried other software and it does exactly the same.
Has anyone got any ideas?
Thanks!

Hi James -
I tried this, and received a "not enough bandwidth" error when connecting via Replay A/V (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/Replay-AV-capture-Streaming-Video-Audio-Radio-Shows-Online-TV-Broadcasts-Video-Clips-Audio-Archives-Podcasts-Free-to-try.htm) and WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm).
The way to record this is to use Replay A/V and the "Capture by Recording Audio Output" option, instead of the "Capture by Downloading + Stream Capture". (This is set under the Basic tab for each show). THis option records exactly what you hear from your speakers.

I get the same problem - Error 453 "Not enough bandwidth" - when recording with any stream recorder. However I can play the stream without any problem.
It is interesting whether it can be caused by the following strings:
Pragma: stream-switch-count=2
Pragma: stream-switch-entry=ffff:1:2 ffff:2:0

The only issue I have of using the recording audio method rather that capturing the stream is that only one radio station can be recorded at once that way.
That could prove to be a problem. It's an annoying problem.

I was able to record only with WM Recorder (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/WMRecorder-One-click-online-audio-video-stream-recorder.htm) in the PRO mode and MPlayer (http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/record-streaming-video-windows-media-and-real-video.htm#MPlayer), however the recording are not playable. I've tried to fix the Windows Media audio file (http://all-streaming-media.com/repair-broken-media/fix-broken-windows-media.htm) with WM Recorder reprocessing function and with ASF Tools to no avail (ASF Tools shows "Unknown padding flag: 40" error).
