Hi guys, i am new to this forum but i can help you download from voot, it's a lengthy process but you can save any voot videos of any quality you desire. so hold on it's coming..
P.S. no money involved.

First things first, you will need 1. IDM(internet download manager)installed 2.ffmpeg
i will proceed with this voot video link as an example: https://www.voot.com/shows/shani/1/456847/suryadev-accepts-hanuman/521536
steps:-
1.create a folder (name it as short as possible without any spaces, ex:-vdownload)
2.download ffmpeg from here: https://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/
3. extract the zip file, copy only ffmpeg.exe from the bin folder to the folder you just created
4.create a .txt file (right click->new->Text Document)
5.copy the following,as it is: ffmpeg -i "" -c copy video.ts paste it in the .txt file
6.go to the voot video page , once you see the IDM prompt download video, click it, it will list multiple video links, click any one of them(just like what you do for any youtube videos), DO NOT proceed with the download, where it is written URL, select , copy the link, it should look like

this:

10.enter entryId : copy after "........./entryId/xxxxxxx/..........." as in the example it is "0_t78v1je5"
11. now click get sources button
12.now copy link of any video quality listed under Source list: ex:- avc1 1080p , right click, copy link location, should look like this:

14. copy the flavorId and replace the flavorId in the ffmpeg command ex:- "0_adzi2jgd" with "0_36xha2zk" [VERY IMPORTANT, FOR QUALITY YOU DESIRE]
15. open a command window in the folder (hold shift right click in the folder, open command window here)
16. paste the ffmpeg command you created in the command window , should look like this:

jazzy your link is missing "hdnea" and "hmac " values. when you copy the url from IDM, you have to copy the entire thing like:

There is absolutely no need for anything after this.

When you do step 12, Just right click the quality link you want and click download with IDM. It will start downloading.

You will get a direct mp4 link which will be resumable and you can download as you wish.

The link is time bound, so after a short time it will become invalid or dead link

Need a little help please. :confused:

I'm using the current Vootffmpeg.bat file that was posted on http://uptobox.com/xkbewe1tktbf and it is working fine as I am able to download the episodes I want from Voot, but for some reason I am getting an error message coming up on a couple of the episodes and unfortunately, I do not understand the programming side of this, so am unable to pick up where the error lies. :o

Can anyone please help me understand the error and if there is a way to fix it? I will post screenshots of the two error messages and one with no error. If someone can kindly help me fix this I will be very much obliged. :)

I would like to download the medium 1280x720 with a bitrate approx. 2628.

Every time when download is stoped, you can try again and again, until reach 100%.
Unfortunately, in voot.com working the timeout which resets the download and large files do not have time to keep during this time-out.
We will fixing, but I cant to say as soon...

On the other hand, I dont understand why you need such a large bitrate for 1080p, when 2500 kbps is enough for a good image.
Personally, I myself take files with bitrates not more than 2500.
For example, I was able to download a large file only from the 10th time.
Is it worth it? So think about it.

the first link to get the entryid but this link need POST request and not GET request so it is not enough to open it in your browser
the second link get the flavorId with GET request

Does anyone know how to download a live stream from Voot? I would like to download a live stream from Voot's MTV India Live. Before I used to be able to just copy the link and paste it in videoder (that was for Big Boss Live Stream), but this doesn't seem to work for MTV India Live. Any suggestions please?

I wonder if anyone can help me.

Since Disney has merged with Hotstar, they have made it a lot more difficult to download videos from their site and many of the VPN's are not working on the site. Currently, I am only able to download Hotstar videos through Adownloader, however, recently that has stopped downloading and converting a full file into mp4. It is now only giving me the option to save a m3u8 file and in a folder, it downloads .ts chunks (between 315 to 325 chunks). So now I have all these chunks in a folder that are 2-3 secs long. Could you please kindly tell me how I can put all these chunks together to make one file without losing the quality and if possible in mp4 format?? I would really appreciate your guidance.
